When alternating current is passed through the primary winding, the transformer generates an alternating magnetic field. By inducing an alternating magnetic field, the secondary winding also generates an alternating magnetic field to generate an alternating electromotive force. The voltage level of the secondary winding is proportional to the number of turns of the secondary winding, I .e. the voltage is proportional to the number of turns. The main function of high pressure is to convert low pressure to the required high pressure. Insulation is especially important in the production process. The unqualified products of many manufacturers are mainly reflected in the insulation treatment. Good insulation is the most important in the production of high voltage transformers.
There are two types of transformer voltage regulation: on-load regulation and no-load regulation. On-load voltage regulation means that the tap position of the transformer can be adjusted during the operation of the transformer, thereby changing the ratio of the transformer to achieve the purpose of voltage regulation. In the on-load tap conversion transformer, there are two ways of line side voltage regulation and neutral point voltage regulation, namely the difference between the transformer tap on the high winding wire end side or the high voltage winding neutral point side. The tap of the neutral point will reduce the insulation level of the transformer tap, which has obvious advantages, but the neutral point of the transformer must be directly grounded during operation.
On-load voltage regulation and no-load voltage regulation, on-load tap-changer is to achieve the purpose of voltage regulation by changing the tap of the on-load transformer. In the case of non-excitation voltage regulation, it is not that the secondary winding of the transformer is not loaded, but all sides of the transformer are disconnected from the grid, and the tap of the winding will also change when the transformer is not excited. On-load and no-load regulation, on-load regulation is usually19step, each step is1.25%, no-load regulation is usually per step1.5% or2.5%. In order to adjust the no-load voltage, the transformer needs to be stopped, and the transformer is not used for the load.
