When the transformer is running, its coil and iron core will produce copper loss and iron loss. These losses become heat, which increases the temperature of the transformer core and coil. If the temperature exceeds the allowable value for a long time, the insulating material will gradually lose its mechanical elasticity, resulting in aging of the insulating material.
The temperature of each part of the transformer is different during operation. The temperature of the coil is higher, followed by the temperature of the iron core, and the temperature of the insulating oil is lower than the temperature of the coil and the iron core. The upper oil temperature of the transformer is higher than the lower oil temperature. The allowable temperature of the transformer during operation shall be checked according to the upper limit of oil temperature. For normal operationAClass insulation transformer, when the ambient air temperature does not exceed400 ℃The limit operating temperature of the transformer winding is1050 ℃. Because the winding temperature is higher than the oil temperature100CIn order to prevent the oil quality from deteriorating, it is stipulated that the upper limit of transformer oil temperature shall not exceed950C. In general, in order to prevent excessive oxidation of insulating oil, the upper limit of oil temperature should not exceed850C. For transformers that use forced oil circulation water cooling and air cooling, the upper limit of oil temperature should usually not exceed750 ℃. (The upper limit allowable value of the transformer oil temperature is800C)
2.Allowable temperature rise
Only monitoring the oil temperature during the operation of the transformer can not guarantee the safe operation of the transformer. It is also necessary to monitor the temperature difference between the upper oil temperature and the cooling air--That is, temperature rise. The difference between the temperature of the transformer and the ambient air temperature is called the temperature rise of the transformer. ForAClass insulated transformer, ambient temperature is400CThe national standard stipulates that the temperature rise of the winding is650C, the maximum allowable temperature rise of the oil temperature is550C. As long as the temperature rise of the transformer does not exceed the specified value, the transformer can be guaranteed to operate safely within the specified service life under the rated load. (The transformer can operate continuously under rated load during normal operation20year)
3.reasonable capacity
During normal operation, the electrical load on the transformer shall be the rated capacity of the transformer.75-90%Left and right.
