At present, many transformers have been equipped with insulation components, such as gaskets, insulation appliances, etc., but due to improper operation, there are still safety hazards. Transformer installation needs to improve its insulation performance in terms of isolation between coil frame layers and isolation between windings.
（31) Impregnation material. The impregnation treatment is the final process of the winding material treatment. The main purpose is to improve the mechanical properties, electrical properties and insulation properties of the material, and to avoid various accidents in future use. After selecting the winding material, the installer should spray the impregnation material and provide an insulating layer on the surface of the material. The more commonly used varnish is cresol paint, which can play a better safety role after painting and extend the service life of transformer equipment.
